I like common projects. I feel as though it is a good hybrid of a shoe. Not to casual, but the desert boot interpretation that they do in leather, with the strap, and now in a black canvas, gives off the sense of something more formal. You could get away with wearing these shoes to a bar or something, and not feel to dressy
